Sama Vritti (also known as Box Breathing) is a simple but effective way to alleviate stress.
Inhale slowly, counting to 4
Hold the breath in for another 4 counts
Exhale slowly to the count of 4
Hold on empty as you count to 4


Repeat for at least four complete cycles.
