When I was 21 years old, I traveled to Italy by myself.

Tucked away in a little shop, I found a pair of pants I instantly fell in love with. I bought a pair for myself and another for my mom.

What I didn’t know then was that they would become a part of our lives.

Over the next 17 years, my mom lovingly recreated them again and again—adjusting the fit, refining the details, and slowly perfecting what has become our favorite pair of pants. Friends would ask for them. Women would stop us everywhere we went to ask where they were from. My mom would sew another pair, then another.

They’ve quietly been worn and loved all over the world.

When I started Of Earth & Ritual, one dream was always in the back of my mind: to share these pants with more women. Together with my incredibly talented sewing team in Bali, we were finally able to bring this decades-loved design to life.

This collection is more than a new garment.

It’s a mother-daughter collaboration nearly twenty years in the making.
